I would like to share my experience of FLV video integration.

Basically my client wanted to play .flv videos on his website so when people visit homepage the video plays automatically otherwise they need to press the play button to play the video. I found a free FLV player at http://www.platipus.nl/flvplayer/ that allowed me to set the autoplay option.

However, the problem was that disabling autoplay shows a blank screen but I wanted to have a splash image instead. So, I started my search again and found another free FLV player called flowplayer that allowed me to set my own background image.

The free version of Flowplayer shows their branding logo which can be removed by purchasing the commercial/multi-domain version

Now, in order to set different player settings I had to do some PHP coding. I used wordpress is_frontpage() function to set  page specific autoplay options:
